The Muskoka Music Men meet on Monday Evenings at 7:30 PM at the All Saints' Parish Hall (Sutherland Hall), located at 30 High Street, Huntsville, Ontario.
Visitors are always welcome.
At a typical rehearsal, here is what you could expect to see:
- Open with "The Old Songs", and welcome any guests.
- Do some physical and vocal warm-up exercises.
- Perform a few songs from past shows.
- Work on the songs we are currently learning.
- Break for coffee and socializing.
- A short business meeting.
- After the break some of our quartets may show off of the songs that they are working on.
- The chorus gets back to work on the repertoire.
- Start learning a new song.
- Try some "tags"
- Finish with the closing numbers, "We Sing That They Shall Speak" and "Keep the Whole World Singing"
After the formal meeting, quartets will stay on to rehearse some of their songs.
